A well educated, well informed in the present of cinema Sanjotha in her debut film gives all the ingredients of a family cinema with hot, spicy and cool feel on the screen.

Sanjotha software engineer turned her interest to cinema direction when she felt standstill atmosphere in her profession. Being a mother of a child today Sanjotha joins the list of very few lady directors in Kannada filmdom.

The title is itself very interesting for Sanjotha. Mirchi meaning hot is represented by Pradeep, Mandakki that is soft is Sachin in character and Khadak Chai a strong Tea is represented by Namratha a student of Psychology. There is Vishal in between Mandakki and Khadak Chai, Nimisha a Miss Kerala finalist in the cast to pep up the atmosphere.

The weakness and strength of human beings are dealt in the contents by debutant director Sanjotha of course with no Sanjotha (compromise) in making. She took nearly two years to come to RR stage of the film. She held workshops for main characters so that time and money is accurately utilized. For Sanjotha Ratan Tata is the role model in this profession. It is a team work she believes strongly.

Hari Kavya is music composer for four songs. KG Ratish is cameraman; Chitra, Vijayaprakash and Rajesh Krishnan have lent the voice for the lyrics of K Kalyan and Sanjotha.

In the list of producers are Sanjotha, Ramamurthy S, Sangeetha, Subhash, Gowri, Gajanana Bandari, Ramesh R, MV Sumanth, Nethra, Mahendrakumar, Pramod, Manoj, Prakash Chandra, Sujatha and Satish Gowda.
